There is an organization in Hungary whose aim is linking the new research results in everyday use. This is the Scientific Society for Organization and Management (SZVT). It has 15 sections. Each deals with different fields from tourism to leadership. There is one common principle for each section. They all realized the importance of climate change and decided to incorporate the topic in their program. Most members are older than 60 and it is unfortunate that younger people are not interested in climate change issue. They think it is only in connection with environment.

To change this situation we decided to organize a climate road-show. Its aim is to reach the younger people at universities and show them that the issue of climate change has many dimensions. With the road-show we plan 10 unique conferences at 10 different universities. Each conference has different topic in connection with climate change, e.g. economics, transport, medical & healthcare etc. We want the students to understand that everything is interconnected to climate change and they have the capacity to do something about it.

Our organization’s special partnerships with different universities gave us opportunity to invite well known professors and researchers for conferences making it more enjoyable than the usual school lecture.

Another goal of this project is to promote big media interest. We plan to extend partnership with the media.  Their networks are the most viable sector to deliver our campaign on the issue of climate change.
